  • Excessive speeding in a commercial vehicle, 26 through 35 mph in excess of the posted construction speed zone
  • Reckless driving
  • Failure to yield to emergency vehicles or failure to change lanes or slow down for authorized vehicles on the roadside

You will obtain 7 points for:

  • Excessive speeding in a commercial vehicle, 36 and above mph in excess of the posted speed zone
  • Speeding in a commercial vehicle, speed not indicated in a construction speed zone

You will obtain 8 points for:

  • Conviction driving while disqualified or while canceled
  • Driving a commercial vehicle without obtaining a commercial driver’s license
  • Passing a stopped school bus, church, or youth bus taking on or discharging passengers
